“This was my final run down an Alp. I hadn't expected it so it was more of a treat than ever. As with all the others, I'd cheated and taken the bus up (I'm getting old!) and this was a great quick cheap lunch stop on the way down. Hot dog and whilst contemplating huge peaks.”

“A great area for skiing with the option to ski both in the French and Italian Alps. There are a number of slopes for different levels and the longest one goes over 7 km. The facilities are well maintained as well.”

“Very varied pistes between the 2 resorts. La Thuile has some great easy terrain for learners but also good cruising red runs at the pass that are North facing and are often on great condition. The front side has some properly steep black runs that are of world cup standard. La Rosierie feels totally different to La Thuile with it's wide pistes that face south. There's a good fun park here and a couple of new lifts to access off-piste. The coffee can be just as good here but it's much cheaper in La T. Big enough for most people for a week. Courmayeur is a free bus ride away if you get itchy feet.”
